Universities join forces with Aardman to tackle mental health crisis

Researchers from the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Nottingham have joined forces with Aardman, the award-winning independent animation studio, on a campaign to encourage young people to become more aware of the factors that may be having a negative impact on their mental wellbeing.

The series of films, called 'What's up with everyone?' is targeted at, and was co-created with young people. They can all be viewed at:聽

The campaign was led by the University of Nottingham's Professor of Health Humanities Paul Crawford, with support from Dr Sachiyo ito-Jaeger and Dr Elvira Perez Vallejos from, along with research teams including, the London School of Economics; the Mental Health Foundation and mental wellbeing charity, Happy Space; young people's mental health expert, Dr Dominique Thompson and Loughborough University.聽
